Her cuddle time with moms lately

Deija is a sweetie. we love her very much. as evening hits, i, heidi gets ready to laydown on the floor because no dogs are allowed on couches or beds. i get a blanket over me and deija does her sniff thing and laysdown next to me. i pet her and she just loves it! her eyes are glowed and every time i move its like the whole world is ended for her and she stands up, but as the nightfalls she gets deeper in the sleep and mom can turn over to the man Steve and say hello. When Mo comes out from his cage. Deija's heart pounds even more like she wants to play,play, play but she does want her cuddles too. But Mo likes his cage with comfy style of big blanket. Mo is such indepentant and Deija dependant. Dogs are so different.

Cuddlebug

Lastnight i sat on the stairs while Deija came over and put her paws across me while her back feet remained on the floor. That was so adorable!

While Mo was getting his nails trimmed on wednesday and getting a bath at petsmart we took Deija over to the dog park behind Sams Town. Deija ran and made a friend with a rottweiler. I took a walk around a the park since it was soo big and a few others was doing that was well. Deija followed me and while i stopped to talk to this lady with Benji's (i was asking her about her twin dogs and why they look so much alike) Deija ran behind me and started walkin with this other guy for a short while and started smelling her way back to grandma for a little bit while i started calling for her where i was i standing (she couldnt hear me). I had to walk to her. Within 50feet, she heard me and ran so cutely to me and excitiedly over to me and greeted me with a kiss on my hand. I adored this pit bull coming in while we were leaving, he was older but he was waiting for that door to open (his eyes were on that door) and he charged as fast as he can go in that dog park and didnt stop for 10mins.

First Time at Dog Park

She did very well except getting in the car. We had to coach her to hop in and sorta drag her in. Ha! Mom sat in the backseat with Deija in her lap and working between Mo and Deija trying to get them to sit for the short 5min ride to the dog park up the road from us. When we arrived and entered they scrambled and did they sniffed all threw the park for 10min. As usual, the other dogs, the older dogs, Mo knows came in Faith, a Rottreiler, and Sweet Pea a mixed terrior Bully came in later with a few others. Faith means well but Mo walks far from her....lol. Faith's a talker. Another older ligher colored german shepard entered and Mo just wanted to meet that one soo soo bad but even though he did in the past. Boy did that dog bark and Faith came right over to protect her body. Ha, so funny. The older dogs are a group. Been together since puppies. Mo also saw his buddy a bully mixed, a girl. Which i totally forget her name, a young dog. Which the owner did inquire getting Deija on craigslist, but a had an older cat so never did. I got the sweet Deija.

Lastest News

Deija has been well adjusted to the kitchen. No longer stops at a certain line to make a go move. Deija went on her second walk today, this time with Heidi. We used a awesome prone collar. Steve didn't think it would work but it did.She did an awesome job walking. Mo was jealous she went on a walk and he didnt. But after she got back it was his turn and boy was he happy. Dinner time we put food down for Mo in the kitchen and Deija ran thru Mo and ate his food. While Mo ran to us and fell over on his belly for a belly rubs. Which is very unlike him! It was weird for Mo to have Deija eating out of his bowl, but we did stick her bowl down next to his. So he did go over and he her food. It was cute. A moment of cuteness.

She's Coming Around

Deija's coming around...she didn't quite eat her food at lunch time which is her and Mo's first bite of food. She took two bites of food from my hand. Later at dinner she did eat dinner. It took awhile though....she took a bite and then Mo came over and snatch some. Deija realize he was stealing and then I grabbed Mo, And Deija finished as Steve hurryed to get another bowl of food in her dish as she quickly eats the rest of the bowl under her. The day before wasn't quite like this. She had her lunch, a half of bowl and she ate dinner with no help, or as a little as one bite in the hand to get her started (she likes to wonder from her food, she get interested in Mo). One rule we are to enhance in the future, 10minututes to eat until next meal. Thats how we do with Mo. As far as Mo does with eating lately..... He eats half of it and "trys" to steal Deija's with owners blocking Mo so he doesn't steal her food. And he goes back to finish his, the other half.

This Morning

Deija truly wanted Mo to play with her this morning but she didn't quite understood Mo likes to sunbathe in the mornings. It was hilerous to see them back and forth to their hound voices "grrr..." with Deija started it first to Mo, for a few minutus and whole time Mo was in his chair. Light swats at each other and smelling each other ears. Today, we are searching for a Deija chair so she doesn't feel left out. we'll see if she hops in the chair as Mo does.

2rd Morning

4th time hearing Deija use her voice be this to Mo...to play.
She repeats saying..."grrr, grrr, grrr......" Believe it or not Mo has his houndtalks to her all the time. Look at Mo's Blog for what he does instantly after she chewed him at, to play.

Looking at Deija and Getting Her

I got Deija on craigslist. I kept seeing this ad for her and her beautiful face. She was ours. If it was supposed to be then yes.... ok she's here. The previous owners were great. They were awesome! keeping in touch will be something in the future. she knows sit, shake, and "puppy play bite". On our way home she laydown on me and every so often go to the other side of the car. About 10min before getting home she whined. It was cute! Just once. and then stopped. When it came to entering the door, she walked a little and then really sloow, to the ground almost. We thought for second she was going potty on the floor but wasn't. We dragged outside where our other dog Mo was. Mo was so happy but she wasn't sure. After awhile she started to run and Mo of coarse run with her. Mo the whole time would slap her on the back and talk to her in his hound voice. She finally got it that he wanted to play and she was fine with it. They were running and playing. He did try to hump her but she immediatlly turn on her back to get away. First it was at a slower pace and then she got really fast at turning at her back to get away. Its a good thing there fixed! Mo came inside, she didn't. Another drag....inside and she went into Mo cage. Mo went in with her. We dragged her out again to her cage which is right next to his and she right away lied down. She's not sure of the house still. Tommorow is adventure time in the house, that is when i get off work. Or unless steve is to do so.
